Location & Getting There
When is the Dental Wisdom Conference?
The Dental Wisdom Conference will take place March 3–6, 2027 at The Altair Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Miami.
Where is the conference held?
The entire event will be held at The Altair Hotel, a beautiful waterfront boutique hotel located at: 9540 West Bay Harbor Drive, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154. All lectures, hands-on classes, meals, and social events take place on-site at the hotel.
How do I get to the hotel?
Most attendees fly into Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
- MIA is approximately 15 miles (about 24 minutes drive) from the hotel.
- FLL is about 20–25 miles away.
Uber, taxi, or rideshare are the easiest options. No official shuttle is provided.
Can I attend without staying at the host hotel?
We strongly recommend staying at The Altair Hotel for the full conference experience. As a bonus, the first 25 attendees who book a room at the hotel will receive a complimentary bottle of wine for Shabbos.
Schedule & Program
What is the daily schedule?
Please note that the schedule below is tentative. Organizers reserve the right to make adjustments as needed. The final schedule will be published closer to the event.
- Wednesday: Welcome event for adults at 8:30 PM
- Thursday morning: Daf Yomi at 6 AM, Davening at 7 AM, Breakfast at 8 AM, Lectures 9 AM–12 PM, Lunch.
- Thursday afternoon & evening: Afternoon lectures 2 PM–8:00 PM, followed by an 8 PM party with glatt kosher dinner and music.
- Friday: Daf Yomi at 6 AM, Davening at 7 AM, Breakfast at 8 AM, Lectures 9 AM–12 PM, Lunch, Afternoon lectures until Shabbos. Davening, Shabbos dinner, Oneg, and shiurim in the evening.
- Shabbos: Breakfast at 8:30 AM, Davening at 9 AM, Lunch at 12 PM, Afternoon shiurim, Mincha, Shalosh Seudos, Maariv, followed by a closing party.
Who is lecturing and what classes will be offered?
We are actively curating and selecting great speakers from all dental specialties, staying consistent with our approach from previous conferences.
The program will feature a mix of standard lectures, smaller intimate classes, and hands-on sessions. If you are interested in lecturing, please apply here.

Will sessions be recorded?
Sessions will not be recorded. In-person attendance is required to receive CE credits.
What is the dress code?
Business casual to professional attire is recommended. Many attendees wear suits, blazers, and smart dresses. We encourage everyone to look polished and professional.

This conference is designed for Jewish dentists who want to combine high-quality continuing education with meaningful Jewish community. Expect inspiring shiurim, beautiful minyanim, cross-specialty lectures, hands-on CE, delicious glatt kosher meals, uplifting Shabbos programming, and genuine connections within the Dental Wisdom community.
What is the format of the event?
This is a small, intimate, invitation-style continuing education event with limited attendance. You can expect interactive lectures, hands-on classes, and plenty of time for networking over meals and social events.
Will there be sponsors or exhibitors?
A limited number of aligned sponsors may support the event. Sponsorship does not influence the educational content. More information on sponsoring can be found here.
CE Credits
How many CE credits will be offered?
20 CE credits will be offered in accordance with AGD PACE guidelines. Final credit hours are subject to change.
Is this event AGD PACE approved?
Yes, the course is hosted by an AGD PACE approved provider.
How will CE attendance be verified?
Attendance verification and course evaluations are required to receive CE credit. Details will be provided during the event.

How does registration work?
Due to limited capacity, early interest does not guarantee a seat. Your registration is only confirmed once payment is received and you receive an email confirmation from the organizers.
How much does the Dental Wisdom Conference cost for dentists to attend?
- Dentist: $1,995
- Dental Student or Dental Resident: $1,595
- Vendor Dentist: $2,995
What is a Vendor Dentist? A Vendor Dentist is a dentist who is not sponsoring the conference but is attending on behalf of a company or organization — for example, a dentist who works for or represents a dental products company, supplier, or service provider.
We reserve the right to raise pricing dynamically based on demand due to limited space. Register early to lock in the current rates.
How much does it cost for my spouse and children to attend?
- Spouse: $450
- Child (age 3 and older): $100

Hotel & Accommodations
Is the hotel included in the registration fee?
No, hotel accommodations are not included in the registration fee.
We have secured a special room block at The Altair Hotel. During the registration process, you will be able to select your preferred dates and room type directly. Availability is limited and subject to the hotel's conference block.
Available Room Rates (per night):
- Studio King: ~$400
- Studio Queen: ~$400
- 1 Bedroom Suite: ~$600
- 2 Bedroom Suite: ~$950
A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking. Final agreed upon costs, including local taxes and resort fees, will be shared by the hotel concierge.
Can I get a bigger room or extend my stay?
Yes. You can upgrade to a larger room or extend your stay beyond the conference dates. During registration you can select your preferred dates and room type. If you'd like to upgrade or add extra nights after registering, just let us know and we'll coordinate directly with the hotel (subject to availability and hotel policies).
Shabbos Meals
Are Shabbos meals included in my registration?
Shabbos meals are optional and not included in the conference registration fee. They're managed directly by OVO at The Altair Hotel. If you'd like to join, simply indicate this during your conference registration.
How do I reserve Shabbos meals, and how much do they cost?
After you complete your conference registration, you'll receive an email with a direct link to reserve your Shabbos meals. These meals are in high demand and tend to sell out quickly, so we recommend booking your spot as soon as you receive the link (typically 5–6 months before the conference). Estimated pricing is approximately $165 per adult and $90 per child for Shabbos Dinner, and $140 per adult and $75 per child for Shabbos Kiddush & Lunch. Menus are subject to change and are served under strict Glatt Kosher supervision.
What's on the menu for Shabbos meals?
Indulge in exquisite, chef-crafted Shabbos meals at OVO at The Altair Hotel. These beautifully prepared Glatt Kosher meals offer a lavish yet elegant dining experience that honors Shabbos Kodesh.
Shabbos Dinner: Each table is elegantly preset with wine, grape juice, challah bread, hummus, tahini, matbucha, potato salad, Israeli salad, baba ganoush, red cabbage, and corn salad. The first course features Moroccan-style salmon and gefilte fish. The second course is chicken soup with noodles and mini croutons. A kids' buffet offers chicken fingers, hot dogs, and pasta. The main course includes Dijon-crusted prime rib, sweet chicken with dried fruit, baby chicken in gravy, and meatballs in sweet sauce served with rice. A carving station offers brisket, lamb, prime rib, and whole chicken. Sides include potatoes, kugel, white rice, rosemary potatoes, and green beans. Dessert consists of mini petit fours, cookies, cakes, and fresh fruit, with a selection of sodas and soft drinks.
Shabbos Kiddush & Lunch: The Shabbos Kiddush begins with a delightful spread of wine, grape juice, cakes, cookies, babka, herring, cured fish, gefilte fish with horseradish, chicken liver salad, egg salad, salmon lox, and cold cuts. Following Kiddush, lunch is served family-style with each table set with challah, hummus, tahini, coleslaw, baba ganoush, matbucha, and green salad. A kids' menu offers chicken fingers and pasta. The main course features schnitzel or grilled chicken, cholent with kishke, hot pastrami, corned beef, smoked turkey, Yerushalmi kugel, potato kugel, and grilled vegetables. Dessert includes mini petit fours, fresh fruit, and cakes, served with hot tea and coffee. Drinks throughout the meal include a selection of sodas and soft drinks.
Policies
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
All registration fees are non-refundable except in cases of documented medical emergencies (doctor's note required, subject to organizers' reasonable approval). Registrations are non-transferable and no substitutions or name changes are permitted. For full details, see our Conference Terms & Conditions.
What happens after I register?
Once payment is processed, you'll get a confirmation email from us. If you selected hotel accommodations, you'll also receive a separate message to finalize your room booking. If you indicated you're joining for Shabbos, we'll send you a link to complete that sign-up. If you don't hear from us within 24 hours, email info@dentalwisdom.org.
What should I expect as a first-time attendee?
Lots of great CE, time to relax, and events you'll actually enjoy. Think inspiring lectures, downtime by the water, beautiful Shabbos together, and a community of dentists who share your values. Most first-timers leave already looking forward to next year.
