Lecturing Opportunities
Lecturing opportunities at the Dental Wisdom Conference are intentionally limited and hand-picked from within our own community. We carefully select speakers who embody the values, clinical excellence, and spirit of the Dental Wisdom network.
Lecture Questions & Answers
Who is eligible to lecture at the Dental Wisdom Conference?
We primarily select lecturers from within our vibrant Dental Wisdom community — a trusted network of approximately 800 Jewish dentists. We strongly prefer speakers who are active members of the community or have been directly referred by an active member.
How are speakers selected?
The organizers personally review all interested lecturers and carefully curate a balanced program that includes large lectures, intimate smaller classes, and hands-on courses. Final decisions on speakers, topics, and formats are made by the organizers to ensure every session delivers practical, high-value skills that attendees can implement immediately in their practice.
What types of lectures and classes are you looking for?
We are looking for cutting-edge, practical, and multi-specialty topics across all areas of dentistry. We welcome both clinical and practice-management focused presentations.
We also welcome dental-related shiurim that combine Torah perspectives with professional growth and ethical practice.
Lecturers are warmly encouraged to connect us with potential vendors or companies they work with that may be interested in sponsoring the event. In many cases, we can offer an honorarium for lectures, particularly when linked to a sponsorship.
How many speakers do you typically select?
We typically select between 10–15 speakers in total to fill three full days of programming.
What should be included in a lecture proposal?
No need to prepare anything formal yet. Simply reach out with a working topic, a short description, and any relevant speaking experiences. It is also very helpful if you let us know if there are any companies you currently work with that might be interested in sponsoring the event and providing an honorarium.
What is the process to apply to lecture?
Simply reach out to us directly at info@dentalwisdom.org. If you are an active member of the Dental Wisdom WhatsApp group, you may also message the event organizer directly there.
Is there a deadline to submit a lecture proposal?
There is no strict deadline, but we encourage you to reach out as early as possible. Early submissions receive priority as we build the program.
What are the benefits of being a speaker?
Speaking at the Dental Wisdom Conference is a meaningful way to give back to the community, share your expertise, help younger dentists grow, and strengthen connections within our network.
Will speakers receive compensation or honorarium?
Honorariums are offered on a case-by-case basis depending on the topic, length, and format of the presentation. Some speakers may also receive partial or full complimentary registration.
Many lecturers also choose to sponsor the event through their companies or brands.
How long are the lecture slots?
Lecture slots typically range from 1 to 4 hours, depending on the topic and format.
Do you accept hands-on or workshop-style presentations?
Yes. We welcome hands-on workshops and interactive sessions, as they are a valuable part of the conference experience.
What AV / technical support is provided?
A dedicated AV team will be on-site to support all speakers throughout the conference.
Can I promote my products or services during my lecture?
All lectures must comply with AGD PACE guidelines. Promotional lectures focused primarily on selling products or services are not aligned with the educational integrity of this event.
Will my lecture be recorded?
Lectures are generally not recorded. In-person attendance is required to receive CE credits.
When will speakers be notified if their proposal is accepted?
We aim to finalize the program as early as possible. Early applicants will be notified first.
Can I co-present with another dentist?
Yes. If you would like to co-present with another dentist, please mention this when you reach out so we can discuss the opportunity together.
Do you provide speaker preparation support or coaching?
Yes. We are happy to discuss potential topics with you and provide feedback to ensure your presentation aligns with the goals and standards of the conference.
Where can I submit my lecture proposal?
Please email your proposal or inquiry to info@dentalwisdom.org.
